ASW 15 ARF manufacturers description

The full-size glider was first introduced by Schleicher Flugzeugbau in 1968, and today ranks as one of the classic standard-class sailplanes. Like the full-size machine, the ASW 15 offers ´full-house´ control, and has an impressively scale appearance in the air combined with finely balanced flying qualities. The factory-installed electric motor quickly propels the model to the height required for extended thermal flights. If you wish to fly the ASW 15 without the motor, you simply remove the spinner and substitute the glider nose, which is also supplied. The moulded Arcel fuselage, wing and tail panels are produced from metal moulds. Plastic screws are used to attach the individual components, which means that the glider can be dismantled for ease of transport.

Ready-made Arcel components and factory-fitted servos make the ARF model extremely quick to prepare for flying. The RTF version also contains a complete four-channel FM radio control system, plus flight pack and battery charger; with this variant you can be flying in next to no time at all!
