Servo FS 40 Pico manufacturers description

The FS 40 is an ultra-low profile wing-mounting servo, just 9 mm thick, which can be installed flush even in modern thin-section wings. At the same time this little servo produces the enormous power of 15 Ncm, and at 0.12 sec/45° it is also very fast. The robustly dimensioned gearbox can absorb control surface forces of up to 45 Ncm without damage, which in practice means that a hard landing does not immediately call for new gears.

With a weight of only 9 grammes this servo is suitable for all applications in the slow-fly and park-fly range as well as in (electric) gliders with thin airfoils and HLGs. It can even be used in most indoor models.

In spite of its small size the FS 40 Pico servo features an indirect drive system which effectively isolates the servo potentiometer from vibration. The special pot provides a precise neutral position and good positional accuracy. Traditional servo mounting lugs are fitted for conventional upright mounting.
The set includes ultra-light mounting clips designed for installing the servo on its side, e.g. in wings.
