O.S. FS 70 Surpass II manufacturers description

Features:

  • New carburetor and tapered needle for smooth throttle response.
  • 90-degree pressure fitting in crankcase routes blow-by to intake manifold, resulting in a cleaner running engine.
  • Carburetor is mounted on centerline of the engine.
  • Both carburetor adjustment needles are located on same side of carburetor, for easy adjustment.
  • Black anodized rocker arm cover.
  • Larger muffler for quieter operation.
  • Crankcase vent is now connected to the intake manifold by silicone tubing. This keeps the inside of the cowling cleaner.

Includes:

  • One FS-70S II Four-Stroke Engine.
  • One Type #F Glow Plug
  • One F-4020 Silencer
  • One Exhaust Header Pipe (Wrenches, Choke Valve Extension, and Mounting Template Are No Longer Included per O.S.)

Requires:

  • Fuel: 10%-20% nitromethane with 18% lubricant. Synthetic, castor, or a synthetic/castor lubricant blend may be used.
  • NOTE: Certain four-cycle fuels cannot be used due to low oil content. However, SOME four-cycle fuels such as the Wildcat 4-Cycle 15% (CATP9109) may be used due to its 18% oil content. When choosing fuels for this engine, the modeler must be sure to select a fuel with at least a 18% lubricant content. Starting and Field Equipment. Propeller (see SPECS)
